When grieving the death of a loved one, confronting a serious medical diagnosis, or facing some other challenge, it's a blessing to know that people are praying for you.  As a parish community, we are here to pray with and for one another.  Parish members may email their request for prayers to Ken Ripp at rippsk@charter.net

Lou Hoeschen requests prayers of gratitude for a successful knee replacement operation that she recently had completed. May Lou feel God's healing presence as she continues on with her rehabilitation challenges. She also requests prayers for a successful operation on her other knee later on in August. Blessings on all who are working with God's guidance and love to nurture Lou's healing.

Prayers of comfort and gratitude are requested by Sue and Ken Ripp. Sue's 96 year old father, Henry Acker, died early Saturday morning. May Sue and Ken embrace the solemn joy of knowing that our God welcomes Henry into His arms of eternal life and love where he is reunited with his wife, Dolores, of 73 years who died four months ago. Thank you God for the gift of their witness to Your love made tangible to so many during the past seven decades.

Prayers are requested for Sandi Stanton who will be having surgery on Wednesday. We pray that she will have a successful surgery and full recovery. We also pray for guidance and strength for the surgical team. May she know the love and support of her parish and the peace and healing of the Holy Spirit.
