In honor of our 50th anniversary and as a sign of our gratitude to God for the blessings we’ve received at Newman, we decided to perform a work of mercy.  We raised money to fund a flooring project at Beacon House.  Amy Giani, the executive director of the Family Promise of the Chippewa Valley (Beacon House), shared the following words:

On behalf of Family Promise of the Chippewa Valley (Beacon House), the Board of Directors, staff and the families we serve, we would like to extend a heartfelt thank you for the generosity of your congregation.   The donations received from Newman Parish, have allowed us the opportunity to begin the process of replacing the flooring in all six of the guest rooms as well as the volunteer bedroom.  With the additional funds that were raised at your 50th Anniversary Celebration, we are also able to extend the makeover and spruce up the bathrooms as well.  We are extremely grateful to have your support as we continue to assist struggling families.  Thank you again.
